The presence of an armed security guard in our workplace gives us many advantages. Criminals think twice before entering the premises and this gives security and piece of mind to both the customers and workers.

The best qualities of an armed security guard must have formal training on weapon retention, self defense and different laws regarding the use of firearms. He must also have shooting trainings and is just comfortable but not proud of the gun. H also needs to have the confidence even when they find themselves in a dangerous and/or hazardous situation.

It would also be an advantage if you hire a former police officer because of his training in the police force. He has the experience in dealing with people from all walks of life so the public will be at ease in his presence. A licensed private investigator and a peace officer or military personnel will also be a good choice because they have already undergone rigid training s in carrying firearms.

In hiring armed security guards, security guard companies must be picky. Take into consideration their qualities before you hire them in your industry. Are they responsible, competent and alert?  Remember that the protection of your customers depend on your choice and even the success of your business. Strong security equals a strong business.
